A NOTE FROM CHARLOTTE
My 35th birthday feels like a beautiful and timely opportunity to celebrate with a community I love dearly while inviting people into the next chapter of Wombs of the World Foundation.
Wombs of the World Foundation was founded in Crested Butte, where four of our founding board members still live. This valley shaped me as a birthworker through my years at the Family Birth Center at Gunnison Valley Health, supporting births and postpartum groups, teaching childbirth education, and helping develop programs that continue today.
The families, babies, friendships, and experiences I found here helped shape who I am and inspired many of the initiatives Wombs of the World now carries across the globe.
This birthday is a celebration of how far we have come and an invitation to help imagine what comes next. I would love to gather with my local and global community, share what we have been building, and celebrate the people and relationships that made it possible.
